Summer Sports Internship

Duties: |
This position will involve assisting the administrative team of the Sports Division with operations of departmental programming. Individuals will deal with all aspects of programming from planning, purchasing, scheduling, on-site supervision and evaluation of numerous recreational programs. Will be directly responsible for the operation of two large golf tournaments. Also will spend a considerable amount of time working with the administration of two large municipal swimming pools. Inter will also have the opportunity to work with other Leisure Services Departments: Golf, Forestry, Parks and Young Arena. |
Requirements: |
Applicant must be 18 years or older and have recommendation of appropriate university/college personnel. |
Work Schedule: |
Applicant will work approximately 40 hours/week and must be willing to work some night and weekend hours. |

Typically May through August |
