IRV WARREN MEMORIAL 

at Byrnes Park (established in 1908), Waterloo's oldest golf course, provides a nice comfortable walk for golfers of every age.  Two ponds test golfers' skills while providing refuge to geese, great blue herons, and nesting ducks.

GATES PARK

(established in 1928) offers wide open spaces interlaced with groves of mature oak and maple trees.  Gates Park's rolling terrain embraces two ponds which are home to numerous species of wildlife.
