Cedar River Exchange Park

The Waterloo Leisure Services Department and the City of Waterloo are currently in the process of developing Waterloo's first youth baseball/softball complex.  The development of the youth complex ties in with the current renovations to Riverfront Stadium which is located in the park.  The development will provide a new six diamond complex.  The close proximity of the recently renovated Joe Straub Diamonds provides the City a beautiful tournament-ready eight diamond complex.  The complex will be utilized Monday through Friday with current youth programs and be available to attract the large youth tournaments on the weekends.  The plan will provide entertainment for the entire family with all the amenities involved in the park.  The plan includes using current amenities such as the skate park, playground equipment, disc golf course, shelters, restrooms, concession stand, parking lots and adding new diamonds, bike trail, and parking to provide an all inclusive park.
