KEY CARD HOLDERSWaterloo Key Card holders may register for any program with an asterisk (*) for half price. Registrants must present their Key Card at time of registration to be eligible for this fee reduction. Key Cards are issued exclusively through Operation Threshold. INJURY/ACCIDENT POLICYThe Waterloo Leisure Services Commission will not be held responsible for any injury or accident occurring while participating in any of our events. BAD WEATHER CANCELLATIONSInformation about sports cancellations will be given on
the Sports Page or by call 291-4493, 2-3
hours before the starting time or as soon as possible. If
school is dismissed early or canceled due to
weather conditions, Waterloo Leisure Services PARK RULESThe Leisure Services Department is committed to providing a safe and quality park system for our community. Park rules exist to ensure park visitors have a pleasant experience. Two specific rules that need to be remembered when taking a dog to a city park are: (1) dogs are to be leashed at all times; and (2) pet owners are required to pick up and properly dispose of their pet’s waste. EQUIPMENT RENTALGet your sports equipment (bats & balls, volleyball nets & balls) from the Leisure Services office for overnight or weekend rental with a deposit of $15 and an actual cost of $10. Volleyball sets with poles can be reserved for a $25 deposit and an actual cost of $20. FACILITY RESERVATIONSA limited number of softball diamonds may be reserved
for practices. Fee: $5/Hour. Call the individual
school to rent a Waterloo school gym or pool. Shelters
at Hope Martin and Cedar River/Exchange Parks may
be reserved. USED SPORTS EQUIPMENTDonate your good but used sports equipment (especially ball gloves) to Leisure Services so it can be put to good use by participants in need.
