Optimist AAA Baseball (4th-6th Grade Boys)

Players from any city are welcome to participate. This program is designed to prepare players to participate in the Major League Baseball program. The program is open to all interested players in the eligible grades. All new players to this league must attend the try-out session. All players participating in try-outs will be selected by a AAA team. Team practices typically begin in late April at the Cedar River Youth Sports Complex. League play begins May 27th. League play consists of approximately 12 games usually played on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. A league tournament concludes the program on July 17th. Each player receives a full Major League replica uniform. Coaches will set individual team practices. Carpools will not be accommodated. Basic instruction on the fundamental skills of the game and sportsmanship is given through the course of the program by volunteer coaches.
