JUNIOR LESSON PROGRAM
The lesson program for all junior players begins with the Net Star Program (5-7 year olds) which is a very basic, activities oriented program with emphasis on fun and exercise as well as learning tennis “FUN”damentals. The standard beginners program, for new players 8 and older is the National Junior Tennis League (NJTL) which is held at many sites throughout Black Hawk County. When a player from either the Net Stars or NJTL program is able to play a regulation tennis match, they will advance to the Junior Team Tennis Program. This will also be held at various sites or other cities. The final step will be an Advanced Tournament Group for those players wishing to travel out of town to Iowa District level tournaments. A player could participate in both Junior Team Tennis and the Tournament Group lessons should he or she so desire. |

NET STARS(5-7 Year Olds)
Lessons include fun, exercise and awards. Classes are 45 min. daily. Choose June or July sessions (4 weeks) at either Byrnes Tennis Center or West High School. Players will receive a t-shirt. (Parents are offered Adult Lessons at the same times and fee at Byrnes.)
