Public Skating
Young Arena Monthly Activities Calendar
Cost is $4.00 for admission and $3.00 for skate rental. We accept CASH or CHECK only. Public skating Is a fun filled atmosphere for all ages to enjoy. Public skating sessions begin in late July and run thru April. A great place to bring a youth group, birthday party or reward your employee's with company outing.
PUBLIC SKATING TIPS
Before You Arrive.....
Dress appropriately! The rink is chilly---don't forget your sweatshirt or coat. Helmets (hockey or bicycle), elbow and kneepads are strongly reccommended but not required. Gloves are are a good idea as well, not only will they keep our hands warm but protect you from the sharp skate blades. Wear long pants and one pair of socks that come above the ankle.
All public sessions are subject to a capacity limit. Paid admissions begin 15 minutes before the scheduled time of the session.
Once You Are Here.......
Follow the Arena Staff and Skate Guard directions and requests
Skates must be worn on the ice! No shoes on the Ice!
Both hockey and figure Skates are available for rent. We do not have doubled bladed skates or skate aids for beginning skaters.
Please skate with the flow of traffic
Carrying of young children while skating is not allowed.
NO cones, buckets, or walkers are allowed on the ice to assist skaters. These items create a danger for other skaters.
NO hockey sticks or pucks are permitted during public skate
We have a maximum capacity of 200 skaters per public skating session.
GROUP RATES
Birthday Parties- $6.00 Per Skater (Includes Admission & Skate Rental) Room Rental $25.00 (allows you to bring your own food, drink and decorations) Please call ahead to secure your child's birthday @ 291-4335
Group Rates- (10 or More Skaters) $3.00 Admission & $3.00 Skate Rental Please call ahead to secure your groups day and special rate @ 291-4335
School Groups- (3rd Grade thru high school, weekdays only during the school day) $2.50 Admission & $2.50 Skate Rental Call 291-4335 to schedule your class today.

***SKATE SAFE***It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that all skaters wear a protective helmet (hockey or bicycle) elbow and kneepads when participating in Public Skating.
